Here are some of our highlights from the week:

Alex: I enjoyed Big Writing because we were writing instructions.

Olivia: I enjoyed Big Writing because we were writing instructions and it’s very fun.

Aaron: I enjoyed Big Writing because we were writing instructions about making candles.

James: I enjoyed making candles because they smell good.

Holly and Millie: I enjoyed making the candles because it was fun and I like the smell.

River: I enjoyed Big Writing because we were writing instructions and I managed to finish mine.

Jack: I enjoyed decorating the classroom door for Book Week Scotland because the theme for the door is ‘There is no dragon in this story’.

Jude: I enjoyed decorating the classroom door because it was lots of fun making the sign with Ellis.

Amber: I enjoyed decorating the door because I got to make part of the sun and the dragon is putting the sun back.

Scott B: I enjoyed making the candles because it was lots of fun.

Aileigh: I enjoyed making the candles because I got to go in the staffroom to pour the wax and it was so fun.

Ellie: I enjoyed making the candles because they have nice smells.

Oliver and Megan: I enjoyed making the candles because they smell nice.

Carley: I enjoyed Big Writing because we were writing a set of instructions and my title was ‘How to make a Christmas candle’.

Emily: I enjoyed doing VCOP activities with my talk partner Ellie.

Mia: I enjoyed Big Writing because we were writing instructions for making a candle.

Ellis: I enjoyed doing our classroom door because I got to do a sign with Jude.

Breaghannon: I enjoyed making our candles because they smelled very good.

Max: I was sad that I was off because I didn’t get to do fun things but since Jack is my friend he did some things for me.
