Last week we were the first class to perform our assembly in our new gym hall. Our assembly was ‘The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark’, linked to our learning about day and night. We told the story of Plop, a baby barn owl who was afraid of the dark and was helped to overcome his fears by some people who showed him that dark can be fun, interesting and beautiful.
We talked about what we enjoyed most about performing to an audience, here are some of our comments:
Murray: I liked seeing my mummy and daddy there.
Kiara: My favourite part was singing.
Euan: I liked everything!
Spencer: My favourite part was the song.
William: I liked it when the cat helped Plop.
The assembly was great. Everyone did a great job with their lines and I loved the song about emotions
Hi Primary 2bg,
I was very disappointed to not be able to see your assembly last week, but I heard that you did a brilliant job so well done, everyone for putting on a fantastic assembly.
Have a lovely weekend.
