p2lg presented this week’s class assembly. We told the story of The Gruffalo in Scots. Everyone who had a speaking part worked really hard to learn the words off by heart. We also sang Ye Cannae Shove Yer Grannie Aff a Bus and Three Craws Sat Upon a Wa’. We loved having our parents, family and friends there to see us and we liked it when they joined in with our singing. Mrs Gallagher was really proud of us all.
Here is what we had to say about the assembly:
Cole “My favourite part was going to the library with my mum and dad at the end.”
Katie “I liked being a craw.”
Sophie “My favourite part was being The Gruffalo.”
Harvey “I liked the singing.”
Archie “I loved being the owl.”
Hi Primary 2lg,
Well done on performing a fantastic assembly to everyone this morning. We are very proud of you all as I’m sure your families and friends were too:). I was very impressed with how you remembered all of The Gruffalo in Scots. I loved the songs too.
Have a lovely weekend.
Miss Henderson
P2lg, I am extremely proud of you too. I really enjoyed your assembly on Friday and was impressed that so many of you had remembered all of you words without having to read. You spoke beautifully in Scots and your 2 songs were great. Well done!
I really enjoyed the assembly, and loved the scots songs
