We have been very busy with our times tables by looking for patterns and making links. We have been focusing on the 5 and 10 times table. We have been making games to help remember them!
Our writing was ‘Life as a Scottish Child’ and our targets were:
to write about life in Scotland and what we did that was traditional
punctuate accurately
make use of openers
Our Scots learning has included tartan and we discovered many tartans on a Clan map. Kilts now have buckles but when people use to wear them they wrapped them around themselves and secured them with a badge. We also painted our own tartan.
We have enjoyed our learning this week!
