Another Busy Week in P5ms!

This week we began learning about the lives of Victorian children. We discovered that the lives of rich children were very different from that of poor children. Did you know that it wasn’t just boys who were chimney sweeps?  Girls climbed up too!

Miss Clark taught us about an exciting type of music from the Caribbean. We tried out a number of percussion instruments. We can’t wait until next week when we will perform a song accompanied by our very own Caribbean music.

Congratulations to all the girls who reached the final of the Burns Competition, particularly our overall winner, Amy Coakley.

Who’s raving about reading this week?

This week Antonia explored our school blog. She shared what she had read with us. What a lot of exciting things go on at Balbardie!

Thanks, Antonia.
