{"id":1910,"date":"2023-02-26T16:21:14","date_gmt":"2023-02-26T16:21:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/st\/strathyreprimaryschool\/?page_id=1910"},"modified":"2023-02-26T16:26:20","modified_gmt":"2023-02-26T16:26:20","slug":"individual-leadership-opportunities","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/st\/strathyreprimaryschool\/individual-leadership-opportunities\/","title":{"rendered":"Individual Leadership Opportunities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Young Leaders of Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the programme is to help children and young people to be more actively involved in helping to improve their schools by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taking part in reciprocal visits to other schools to identify what is working well, areas for improvement and effective practice.<\/li>\n<li>Promoting ways that children and young people can be involved in school improvement activities in their own school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In session 2022-23, we are working alongside Callander Primary and St Margarets Primary Schools.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior Road Safety Officers\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The JRSO scheme is an effective and popular way to get serious road safety messages across to children and provides an opportunity to develop their communication skills.
