Stirling schools are invited to take part in a Skype event taking place on Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 7 February from 1.30pm – 2.30pm. This will be hosted by Marialice Curran of the Digital Citizenship Institute in the USA introducing presenters from Falkirk schools (primary and secondary), each group of pupils from the volunteer Falkirk schools below sharing about one aspect of staying safe online.
Many thanks to the staff in the Falkirk schools who previously kindly volunteered to have pupils present during this Skype connection:
Bankier Primary School, Bainsford Primary School, Falkirk High School, St Mungo’s RC High School, Westquarter Primary School and Carronshore Primary School.
This Skype connection will be open to schools around Scotland to view and to participate in discussions which Marialice Curran will facilitate during the hour-long Skype session.
The Skype connection is set up to be a link which will work via an internet browser and does not require the desktop Skype software to be installed. Click on the link below to sign up to be sent a step-by-step guide to connecting to the Skype session. It is recommended to do this well in advance of the time for the Skype connection.
