December has been very busy time for Primary 1 as we learned and performed a nativity. It was called A Wriggly Nativity and everyone had an important job to do.
“I was a narrator. I felt nervous.” Thijs
“I was a wise man. I felt a bit nervous.” Michael
“I was an angel. I felt happy” Eilidh
“I was Mary. I felt proud.” Olivia
“I was a narrator. I felt super happy.” Grace
We did lots of practising to help us learn our lines, the songs and to learn where and when to go on stage. With the support of a fantastic P2 choir, we performed A Wriggly Nativity three times; once for the whole school and twice for our families. We got wonderful feedback from our audiences and we all felt very proud.
As well as putting on a nativity, we have continued working hard in Literacy and Numeracy and have enjoyed some Christmas themed activities.
After all of our hard work, on 18th December, P1 enjoyed their Christmas party. We played party games like musical statues and pass the parcel, did some social dancing, ate scrummy party food and even had a special visitor. We had a great time and are now even more excited for Christmas.
