When we were at Homehill, Claire, the Countryside Ranger came with us. We did lots of activities using mirrors and blindfolds. With the blindfolds we had our eyes closed and someone led us to a tree. You had to feel the tree then walk back to the group. Once you had walked away, you had to go find the tree again, without the blindfold. We used the mirrors to look for interesting things like little holes and flowers. The mirrors let us see behind tree branches and in holes. We used descriptive words to describe Holmehill and what we found. It was a sensory trail where we explored the senses. It was nice to spend some time in the woods.
