You can do work experience before an apprenticeship to see if you like it or not.
it was very factual, learned about how to get apprenticeship with GTG and was quite interesting.
you can do a weeks work experience and after that you can do 1-3 years apprenticeship work
I learned that you can earn whilst you learn.
The primary skills required for any unit in GTG and their world of work is skills that are intended for automotive works and administration. Employment for automotive skills is in GTG’s priority list because GTG is strongly associated with the Arnold Clark company. People need NAT 4/5 grades on Maths, Science and possibly Business Management as applications to do this.
I’ve learned that there is an apprenticeship in Croftamie for car mechanises.
I learned in the gtg presentation that you get paid for doing an apprenticeship and you can do up to three years of an apprenticeship.

today we learned about GTG training and what it is and what it can do if you are looking for a modern apprenticeship ,we learned what they accept for application depending on what job your after ,the course that they put you on is three years long they pay you while your there.
you can do a weeks work experience first before you go on to doing the full apprenticeship so you can make sure its what you definitely want to do.
