In May parents and carers\u00a0 will receive a link to order uniforms online and the items will be delivered directly to your address.<\/p>\n

In Buchlyvie School we hope to develop in pupils a sense of identity and of belonging to the school community.\u00a0 One way of doing this is to encourage pupils to wear our school polo shirts and sweatshirts.<\/p>\n

The logo on the garments is the Baron of Buchlyvie, a famous Clydesdale horse who lived in Buchlyvie in the early 1900s.\u00a0 The sweatshirts are royal blue and the polo shirts are white. Primary 7 children wear a red sweatshirt. The children in\u00a0 P7 wear a shirt and tie.<\/p>\n

On occasion the pupils will be asked to dress more formally e.g. Concerts\/School representation\/end of term services. The polo shirts and sweatshirts provide Buchlyvie\u2019s uniform.<\/p>\n

T-shirt, PE shorts and gym shoes. For health and safety reasons, pupils should wear these for PE and bring them to school on the allotted gym day. Please note that jewellery (earrings\/ watches\/ rings) should be removed before the lesson commences.<\/p>\n

Slippers are worn in school. Children change their outdoor shoes when arriving at school, break times and outdoor learning.
\nWe politely request that all children bring slippers<\/span>\u00a0to wear in school, this will help to keep our corridors and classrooms cleaner. \u00a0The\u00a0slippers<\/span>\u00a0can remain in school throughout the term. The children will change from their outdoor shoes into their\u00a0slippers<\/span>\u00a0in the morning, and, change again at breaks. Younger children will get help to change from their buddies<\/p>\n

There is some research that shows there is benefits to wearing\u00a0slippers<\/span>\u00a0in school, improving attainment alongside health and well-being. The youtube video below shares the benefits of wearing\u00a0slippers<\/span>\u00a0at school.<\/p>\n
