Primary 7B have been taking it in turns to research/ create their own Growth Mindset quotes.  A selection of the quotes they came up with are shown below:

 

‘Take a step into the unknown, who knows what you could achieve’

‘Making mistakes and getting answers wrong isn’t bad, it’s good as you’re training your brain to understand new things’

‘If you don’t give it a go, you will never know what you can achieve’

‘I will learn, no matter what gets in my way’

 

 

March 2016

Primary 4 have been using the Learning Pit to assess their understanding in maths.  This has allowed them to see their learning as a journey, from the introduction of a concept to mastery.  They may not get to where they want immediately, however with hard work, perseverance, learning from mistakes and the support of their classmates – they will get there!

Primary 7 have created Stop Animation videos about mindset to share with their Primary 1 buddies.  The videos promoted challenge, learning from mistakes, acting on feedback and persistence.  Enjoy!
