A person with dysgraphia will benefit from help from both specialists and those who are closest to the person.<\/p>\n<p>Some example supports for dysgraphia include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Allowing extra time to complete written tasks<\/li>\n<li>Utilising assistive technology such as voice to text software to remove the burden of handwriting<\/li>\n<li>Use of a scribe<\/li>\n<li>Providing templates and more scaffolding for written tasks<\/li>\n<li>Explicit instruction in phonics and spelling<\/li>\n<li>Reducing the amount of written work that needs to be completed (quality over quantity)<\/li>\n<li>Allowing alternative assessment practices, such as oral assessments and presentations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are many ways to help a person with dysgraphia achieve success.
