Art and Design S3 Course Outline <\/strong><\/p>\n

Pupils will attend Art & Design 2 periods per week in S3.<\/p>\n

Expressive Unit<\/strong><\/p>\n

Painting and drawing skills \u2013 working from primary sources, building observational skills using the visual elements. To convey ideas, thoughts and feelings through expressive work. Finished work \u2013 A2 Investigative drawings sheet, 1 x A3 final solution.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Design Unit<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Design Unit will be used towards pupils National 4\/5 Art & Design qualification.<\/p>\n

Drawing, image manipulation and basic design techniques. Development of graphic design ideas to be used and adapted to a final solution. Finished work 2 x A2 research & development sheets, 1 x A3\/A2 final solution.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
