{"id":2334,"date":"2016-05-26T16:34:47","date_gmt":"2016-05-26T15:34:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/st\/balfronhighschool\/?page_id=2334"},"modified":"2024-05-07T14:40:23","modified_gmt":"2024-05-07T13:40:23","slug":"prefect-and-prefect-leadership-appointment-process","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/st\/balfronhighschool\/prefect-and-prefect-leadership-appointment-process\/","title":{"rendered":"Prefect and Prefect Leadership Appointment Process"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left\"><u>Prefect Application Timeline 2024<\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><u>Prefect Applications<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Prefect Application form is done entirely on a Google Form<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The response is unique and records the application date\/time<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The response will be linked to attendance\/late coming\/behaviour and shared directly with PTs for House Meeting Final Decision<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The same application form asks if pupils would also like to be considered for Head Prefect, or Senior Prefect or House Captain.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 If successfully appointed as Prefects, these candidates will then be asked to upload a home-made video via google form to support their application for Head\/House\/Senior (see below)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\n<ol style=\"text-align: left\" start=\"2\">\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <strong><em>The link for the application form:<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/aVJ7ewNhCUaCWWpo9\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/aVJ7ewNhCUaCWWpo9<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0 It is live and ready for data.<\/p>\n<p>The link will be put on the Google Classroom<\/p>\n<p>The closing date will be Midnight on Monday 27<sup>th<\/sup> May<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><u>Promoted Role Applications<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li><strong>Promoted Roles include Head Prefect, Senior Prefect, House Captain.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Anyone who wishes to apply for a promoted role must do so on their Prefect Application form.\u00a0 Only successful prefects will be able to progress their promoted application.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>All application videos for the role of Head Prefect should be submitted by candidates by Midnight on Monday 10th June<\/li>\n<li>Head Prefect videos will be shown in Form Class on Wednesday 12<sup>th<\/sup> June with voting by google form and interviews to follow.<\/li>\n<li>Results will be shared on Thursday 13<sup>th<\/sup> June<\/li>\n<li>Head Prefect Interviews to be held Friday 14th June with House Captain Interviews on the days following (Monday 17th &#8211;
