Update 24th May 2016

Our learning village is almost all fully equipped ahead of schedule for our return to Balfron High School.

I am pleased to report that the investigation work is now complete following the precautionary building checks. As ever, our focus is to prioritise the educational needs and safety of our young people and staff. We continue to work closely with Council officials, key partners and Bellrock (our facilities management contractor) to minimise disruption to pupils while repairs are carried out. Our aim is to have the school fully operational for our return in August.

National Qualification exams in Physics at all levels ran smoothly today.

There are no exams scheduled for tomorrow. However young people are encouraged to make use of the support available as follows:

  • N5 and Higher Modern Studies revision: All day Thursday 26th May
  • Higher Sociology: All day Thursday 26th May
  • Higher PE: Thursday 26th and Tuesday 31st May
  • Mrs Patrick has contacted pupils directly to arrange times for Higher and N5 Accounts revision.

Senior pupils are welcome to contact their teachers directly via email for support.

Primary 7 pupils from our associate schools are invited to join Balfron High young people in our extra-curricular programme.

A reminder of activities is below:
