{"id":7736,"date":"2021-08-30T10:47:25","date_gmt":"2021-08-30T09:47:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sl\/woodparkprimaryschool\/?p=7736"},"modified":"2021-08-30T10:47:25","modified_gmt":"2021-08-30T09:47:25","slug":"current-self-isolation-guidelines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sl\/woodparkprimaryschool\/current-self-isolation-guidelines\/","title":{"rendered":"Current self-isolation guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Parents\/Carers<\/p>\n<p>I would like to share again the letter from Executive Director of Education Tony McDaid, which highlights current self-isolation guidelines:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Self-isolation rules.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The approach of requiring whole classes or groupings of pupils to self-isolate as close contacts is no longer necessary in normal circumstances.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Therefore, there will no longer be a need to isolate whole groups of children and contact tracing will be undertaken by Test &amp; Protect (T&amp;P). If someone is identified by T&amp;P as being a close contact the following new rules apply:-<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Children aged 5 to 18 years will not have to isolate for 10 days, so long as they remain asymptomatic and have a negative PCR.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Under 5\u2019s will not have to isolate so long as they remain asymptomatic but there is no mandatory requirement for them to have a negative PCR.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Adults who are double vaccinated and have a negative PCR will no longer have to isolate if they are a contact of a positive case.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sl\/public\/woodparkprimaryschool\/uploads\/sites\/13722\/2021\/08\/12161238\/2020-08-10-Parent-carer-letter-TMcD.pdf\">Please click here for the letter in full<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">If your child receives a positive PCR test outwith school hours, please text the school mobile &#8211; <strong>07867 348652<\/strong> &#8211; with your child&#8217;s name, date of the positive PCR result and your contact details.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Thank you,<\/p>\n<p>Mrs D MacKenna, Head Teacher<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Parents\/Carers I would like to share again the letter from Executive Director of Education Tony McDaid, which highlights current self-isolation guidelines: &#8220;Self-isolation rules.
