Complete our classroom activities on this programme.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Prior Knowledge \u2013 What do I already know (before you watch)?<\/li>\r\n<li>Visualisation \u2013 What picture is in my mind when I read?<\/li>\r\n<li>Metalinguistic \u2013 Note down any tricky words, then look up the meaning online\/in a dictionary.<\/li>\r\n<li>Inference \u2013 Draw conclusions\/make predictions\/reflect.<\/li>\r\n<li>Main Ideas \u2013 Finding the thread throughout the text.<\/li>\r\n<li>Summarising \u2013 Gather the main ideas in your own words.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Spelling<\/strong>:<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>Using your weekly spelling words, carry out an active spelling strategy such as:<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Pyramid writing<\/li>\r\n<li>Alphabetical order<\/li>\r\n<li>Rainbow writing<\/li>\r\n<li>Coloured vowels<\/li>\r\n<li>Write a silly story using all of your spelling words.<\/li>\r\n<li>If you\u2019re really brave go outside and write them in the snow!!!<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Your spelling words are updated in your Google Classroom each week.
