We have another new Pupil Council this year, comprised of 18 pupils from Primary 1 to Primary 7.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The Pupil Council run weekly assemblies at Woodpark \u2013 all parents are welcome to these so please feel free to come along on a Friday at 9:30am.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
This year the Pupil Council will be undertaking a self-evaluation of their school. We will be doing this using the How Good Is Our School (HGIOS)\u2026<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
What is HGIOS?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \u200b\u200bSince 1996, How Good is Our School? (HGIOS) has become a nationally and internationally recognised brand, which underpins effective self-evaluation as the starting point for school improvement.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n It is a key aspect of the Scottish approach to school improvement and the framework is designed to be used to support self-evaluation and reflection by practitioners at all levels.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n At Woodpark, the children will be using a child-friendly version of HGIOS to look at what we do well at Woodpark and where we could make some improvements.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Keep an eye on the Pupil Council\u2019s website page for monthly updates on how we\u2019re getting on!<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We have another new Pupil Council this year, comprised of 18 pupils from Primary 1 to Primary 7.
