This lead on to the children singing the Colours of the Rainbow and learning the names of the colour in Makaton sign language. Can you practice this at home with your family?<\/p>\n<p>Did you know &#8230; The ability to identify colours is considered a marker and milestone in a child\u2019s cognitive process. Recognising the colours and identifying the colour names is an important part of a child\u2019s development.
