Primary 1s Busy Week
We have been very busy this week. Primary 1a and 1b enjoyed tasting different cereals as part of our learning in Health and Well-being and our Fairyland topic. Some of us liked Weetabix best while others preferred Rice Krispies or Corn Flakes. We also made porridge like Goldilocks and

Primary 1’s First Week at Woodhead
The boys and girls have enjoyed their first full week of Primary 1 at Woodhead. In Literacy we have been developing phonological awareness skills through singing nursery rhymes and playing rhyming games and activities. In Numeracy we have enjoyed learning some stories and rhymes to help us remember numbers

Welcome to back to school!
We hope all of our pupils, families and staff had a lovely summer holiday and enjoyed the lovely weather this year. We are looking forward to welcoming back P2-7 pupils on Thursday 16th August 2018 at 9am. Staff will be in the playground just before 9am to show pupils

Primary 1a and 1b trip to Almond Valley
We enjoyed meeting the animals around the farm. A highlight was the bumpy tractor ride and seeing the horse with the zebra coat on! We had lots of fun bouncing on the trampolines, and exploring the play barn and play farm machinery.
