Skills Framework:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The South Lanarkshire (SLC) Skills Framework has been created to support Skills Development with a focus on cross-curricular, universal \u201cmeta skills\u201d and transferrable skills.\u00a0 The framework is made up of eight (key skill) organisers aligned to the four capacities of Curriculum for Excellence.<\/p>\n

    Weekly Homework:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    At Wester Overton we do not have formal written homework. However, children are expected to practise their spelling words, reading and number bonds\/ multiplication tables<\/strong> each night. Weekly homework tasks are uploaded to your child\u2019s Google Classroom (accessed through your child\u2019s Glow account). We also use\u00a0 Sumdog across the school for P2-7.<\/p>\n
