Breakfast service in primary schools<\/h3>\n
All primary\u2011aged pupils can have a\u00a0free breakfast at school<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Breakfast is available each school day\u00a08.15am to 8.45am<\/strong>\u00a0and helps children start the day ready to learn.<\/p>\n The breakfast menu includes:<\/p>\n Breakfast menus include nutritionally balanced meals in line with the Nutritional Requirements for Food and Drink in Schools (Scotland) Regulations 2020. If your child has an allergy or special dietary need, please speak to your child\u2019s school.<\/p>\n Our current\u00a02025 to 2026 primary school lunch menu<\/a>\u00a0finishes on\u00a0Friday 21 August 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Our new\u00a02026 to 2027 primary school lunch menu<\/a>\u00a0starts on\u00a0Monday 24 August 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Each day, we offer:<\/p>\n Menus are planned to give children familiar favourites while encouraging healthy choices. All meals meet the\u00a0Nutritional Requirements for Food and Drink in Schools (Scotland) Regulations 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n We display\u00a0allergen information and nutritional content<\/strong>\u00a0for lunchtime menu items. This information is as accurate as possible and should be used as a guide.<\/p>\n Please note that menus may occasionally change due to ingredient availability from suppliers.<\/p>\n If your child is in Primary 6 or 7, they may still qualify for\u00a0free school meals<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Free school meals<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n If you claim certain benefits and your child attends a South Lanarkshire school, they may be able to get free school meals. This includes the provision of free milk for primary pupils.<\/p>\n\n
