At Townhill Primary school we offer a wide range of clubs for all our pupils. Our clubs are held at lunch time or after school and are run by teachers, support assistants or specialised coaches. We work very closely with Lesley Scanlan who is our active school coordinator. We have heavily subsidised the cost of some of our clubs through our participatory budget allocation, this allows all pupils the opportunity to attend.
We don’t just offer sports clubs, we have reading clubs, recorders, a choir and a board games club which our children thoroughly enjoy.
We believe our clubs play a huge part in helping our children to feel a sense of belonging and to develop new skills.
Our clubs are fun and also help boost our children’s self-esteem and self-confidence.
