A continuous process of assessment is utilised throughout St. Mary\u2019s Primary School to measure pupils\u2019 progress.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Assessment helps to provide a picture of a child&#8217;s progress and achievements and to identify next steps in learning. Assessment approaches promote learner engagement and ensure appropriate support so that all learners can achieve their learning goals and maximise their potential.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Information on learners\u2019 progress is recorded.\u00a0 This allows teachers to have a clear picture of how learners are progressing.\u00a0 It will also allow teachers to identify next steps in learning and inform reporting on progress and achievement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Parents may contact the school to discuss their child\u2019s progress at any time.
