Tsunamis 25/02/15
P6 have been working on natural disasters.
Tsunamis are one of the worlds natural disasters. It is a deadly wall of water that can wipe out anything in its path. They are very hard to escape from if you are caught in one. They can kill people and wipe out cities and lots of people can be left homeless. The deadliest tsunami was the Great Indian Ocean Tsunami in 2004. That was created by an earthquake that released the energy of 23,000 atomic bombs according to the U.S. and put millions of people out of homes.

You have obviously done a lot of research. Are there any warning signals that a Tsunami is about to hit?

Hi Ben
I was very interested in your post. Where was the closest Tsunami to Britain in recent years?
