Hello everyone, we have been learning about Fair Trade and how it affects the world around us.  This blog post is all about cotton.  Cotton is one of the most important crops in the global textile industry, basically that means that it is one of the most used fabrics/materials around the world. The working conditions for Africa and Eastern Asia are despicable i.e. child labour, governments forcing people in a terrible state to work and most of all, illegally employing children. We are all trying our hardest to support Fair Trade and by doing Fair Trade Fortnight we are all supporting Fair Trade.
