Natural Disasters

Next week we are going to go to Dynamic Earth. We are learning a lot of things about Natural Disasters. Like about the earths structure. The earth has the inner core, the outer core, the mantle and the crust. Hopefully we will be able to make it to Dynamic Earth. We hope that we will learn a lot of things and that all our class will enjoy it. I hope that there will be more exciting things there and we have just been recently learning  about volcanoes. A volcano can explode by the pressure of molten rock gets to high and causes a volcanic eruption. The volcano can’t hold the magma any more, so the magma chamber explodes and lava shoots out on the ground above it.

  1. You will love Dynamic Earth. Take as many pictures as you can and we can put them on the website. It would also be great to hear about it at assembly. Enjoy!

  2. Hi Cameron and Alex
How are you enjoying your topic on Natural Disasters?

Has Scotland ever had an earthquake or volcanic eruption?

  4. Well done boys! I can tell that you have been paying attention in class! I hope you both enjoyed Dynamic Earth. My favourite bit was the tour and learning about how the Earth was formed. It though it was quite interesting to see how our space topic and natural topic linked together. I also learned that there are more than four layers in the earth’s structure!

  5. Well done boys!
I think Dynamic Earth was totally epic because of all the features including the iceberg that people touched or licked. I hope you’ve enjoyed it. You two did pay attention in class.
