Eco Fortnight kicks off today in our school.  As you may know, we are an Eco friendly school and have done a huge amount of work towards being recognised for our achievements so far.  The children will be focusing particularly on Eco Awareness over the coming fortnight and we would appreciate any support and further information you can provide them with at home.  Muchas gracias!

Welcome back to school everybody.. if you were lucky enough to be on holiday, we hope you had a lovely break.  In St Elizabeth’s, we are all ready and raring to go for what promises to be another successful term ahead.

Thank you so much to everyone for all donations towards our Mary’s Meals Collection.  The items are being collected today, Thursday 31st March and we know the collectors will be delighted with what we are giving to them.

We enjoyed 2 performances of ‘Rookie Rockstars’ which transformed out gym hall into Wembley Arena!!

Our Houses performing on Tuesday evening were Muir and Livingstone and taking to the stage on Wednesday evening were Murray, Stevenson and Mackintosh!  Well done to all our boys and girls for singing, rapping and head banging their way through a variety of songs.  We thoroughly enjoyed seeing your performances and look forward to listening to the CD of the songs.  Thanks to everyone who came along to support these evenings and for all orders of the CD.

Junior Masterchef  ?    Thursday 24th March

Six Senior Pupils were asked to taste, discuss and then judge a selection of Dishes cooked by some winning  “Kitchen Cooks ” from across South Lanarkshire. Food ranged from Cheesy Wheels to Barbecue Sausages to Apple Delights and the Event concluded in  teams of children ,  Catering Supervisors and Facility Managers, voting  Barbecue Sausages as their overall winner. This tasty  delight may  feature  in subsequent  school menus.
