Last year, the stage hosted over <strong>90 emerging rock and pop musicians<\/strong> who performed to a capacity crowd of over 600. The atmosphere was a testament to the hard work and ambition of the performers, setting a high standard that this year\u2019s cohort is already looking to surpass.This event goes from strength to strength ever year, and we can&#8217;t wait to see what our young musicians have in store this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-rokkitt-font-family\">The 2025 Battle of the Bands was considered a landmark year for performances, but the quality of rehearsals suggests that the 2026 entries are just as ready to rock in terms of both technical skill and performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-rokkitt-font-family\">While the judges make the difficult decision of who will be our 2026 champions the South lanarkshire Schools&#8217; Rock Collective will entertain the crowd.
