{"id":1825,"date":"2026-03-16T10:49:03","date_gmt":"2026-03-16T10:49:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sl\/primaryscience\/?page_id=1825"},"modified":"2026-03-16T10:51:43","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T10:51:43","slug":"conference-of-schools-4-march-2026","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/sl\/primaryscience\/conference-of-schools-4-march-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference of Schools 4, March 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"202\" data-end=\"476\">Building on the success of previous events, the SLC Youth Forum on Climate Change and Sustainability continued to strengthen opportunities for learner voice and climate leadership through the delivery of <strong data-start=\"448\" data-end=\"475\">Conference of Schools 4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"478\" data-end=\"824\">Taking place in <strong data-start=\"494\" data-end=\"508\">March 2026<\/strong>, the conference was designed for <strong data-start=\"542\" data-end=\"585\">P5\u2013P7 learners across South Lanarkshire<\/strong> and was delivered under the theme <strong data-start=\"620\" data-end=\"631\">\u201cGREEN\u201d<\/strong> (Grow, Rethink, Empower, Enrich, Nurture). The event brought together young people from across the authority to explore practical actions that support more sustainable schools and communities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"826\" data-end=\"1258\">Through a programme of interactive workshops, collaborative activities and youth-led discussions, learners explored topics including biodiversity, waste reduction, sustainable lifestyles and environmental responsibility.
