We interviewed one of our very own, Gregor Doran, to find out a little more about his recent successes:

Q1-  What position have you been asked to take part in?

A- Gregor told us that he has been picked to be part of the South Lanarkshire Council Disability Squad.

Q2-Do you enjoy the position?

A-  Gregor revealed that yes, he very much enjoyed it as he got to play his favourite sports like athletics and swimming.

Q3- Were you happy with the offer?

 A- He told us he was, but he also wasn’t surprised.

Q4- How do you feel about representing South Lanarkshire Council?

   A- “Amazing.” Gregor went on to say that he felt extremely honoured to represent his home town of East Kilbride.

Q5- How many medals have you earned?

A-  Gregor has won three bronze medals and two gold medals, one in 25m backstroke, one in 25m freestyle at the West of Scotland Federation for Swimming Clubs for People with a Disability- Regional Championships.

Q6-What do you enjoy at school?

A- “I enjoy maths with my two teachers, Mr McDonald and Miss Stewart.”

Q7- Are you doing any outside of school activities at the moment?

A- “Yes, I’m actually going to perform a play called `Ups and Downs`.”

Q8- Are you nervous and who do you play in Ups and Downs?

A- “I’m not nervous at all and I play the Muppet, Animal.”

Our last question we asked Gregor Doran, was asked by the Head Teacher, Mrs Mullen and one the deputes, Mr McGurk.

Q9- Did you have a Valentines’ card this year?

A- “I recieved a card saying, To Gregor, i love you. So i guess i have a secret admirer.”
