It happened before the winter Olympics. Kim Jong Un’s  sister came face to face with the leader of South Korea, Moon-Jae In, who agreed to join with them for the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.  When the games began, both North and South Korea walked together in the opening Ceremony as a team. They put the flags together and made one for both the countries.

South Korea have achieved a total of eight medals this year. Four gold, two silver and two bronze, whereas North korea have achieved no medals this year in the Olympics, at the moment.

After two years they had their first talk together to agree to join forces with an olympic delegation stacked full of dignitaries, hockey players and other artists. North korea have played a surprising role in supporting South Korea in the Pyeongchang Olympics. The city is also leading a hand in another way as it has employed its singers and other athletes to stand alongside them in Seoul, Tokyo.
