The much-awaited malayalam movie ‘Velipadinte Pusthakam,’ which translates to ‘The Book of Revelations’ is here. Released as part of the ‘Onam’ big releases, the movie is soaring in the box-office and  received a 6.2/10  rating from IMDb.

Starring  mega-star Malayalam movie actor Mohanlal, along with recently debutante actors such as Arun Kurian and Sarath Kumar (Sarath Appani), this movie revolves around a new proffesor who attempts to bring the students and teachers together.

Although the movie sounds cliche,  it’s all saved by the brilliant composer Shaan Rahman who created the song : ‘Entammede Jimmiki Kammal’.  In English translates to ‘My mothers earring’.

The song has received over 25 million views nearing 26 on YouTube, which is the highest number of views from the Malayalam song industry! Sung by well known Indian playback singers Vineeth Sreenivasan and  Renjith Unni, penned by Anil Panachooran here is the World Wide hit:

The fast beat and catchy Malayalam lyrics has hooked the ears of many accross the globe and it is now been taken aboard as a dance challenge. With literally hundreds and hundreds of dance routines being performed, the most presently popular (with just over 17 million!!) being performed by the Indian School of Commerse.

It has truly been received with open hands across the world and it shows the talent that comes from Kerala and it’s a movie industry to watch out in the future.
