Later this year 2nd year pupils will be making their subject choices. There will be plenty of subjects to choose from such as: Art and Design, Design and Manufacture, Physical Education, Graphic Communication, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Drama and many more.
During this process pupils will have interviews with guidance talking about what subjects they want to choose. However, along with this there are some subjects you have to take such as: Maths, English, French or Spanish, PE and RE.
I personally would like to pick:
Chemistry –because I think the chemistry topics we have done before have been a lot of fun and I think chemistry is fun and interesting.
Biology – because I think the body is an interesting thing to study.
Art and design – I enjoy drawing and painting and all the other things we do in art and I feel I want to get better at these things.
Design and manufacture – I enjoy making things and working with tools this is an interesting subject to learn.
