The reality television star, Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint on early Monday morning in a luxury hotel in Paris by five armed men.
The gunmen dressed as police officers had asked to be directed to the reality TV stars room whereupon they stole millions worth of jewellery including her 20 carat engagement ring.
The robbers then went onto tie Kardashian West in the bathroom.
Fortunately though a friend of Kardashian West was staying in the room below and heard the incident happening and quickly let the bodyguard aware of what was happening.
Bodyguard Pascal Duvier was less than two miles away with Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner (sister and half sister to Kim Kardashian West) at the Arc night club.
They then quickly left the scene of the crime and escaped using bicycles.
Two minutes later Duvier appeared along with Kim Kardashian West’s sisters.
The police and Kim’s publicist have stated that she was:
“badly shaken but not physically unharmed”
Once her husband, Kanye West, had found out that Kim was being held hostage he left mid concert telling his confused fans that there was a:
“family emergency”
Since the attack the pair have been spotted arriving in New York and spending time with their two children, 3 year old North West and 10 month old Saint West.
