Not content with cold and wintry Scotland, on the 9th January 2016, 43 pupils and 5 members of staff journeyed to Les Menuires. The village is part of the 3 Valley ski range in the French Alps.

The party came back on January 16th, so they had a week to ski and miss school. Pupils received several hours of ski instruction per day when they were away; this improved their snow skills sufficiently enough to take on some of the more challenging slopes.

The students also took part in numerous evening activities, including bum boarding (we don’t know what that is either…), speed mountain and a disco.

Mr Clark, Principal Teacher of Physical Education (PE), said that ‘all pupils involved had a fantastic time and many have booked up for next year’s trip now as well.’
