Recent attacks in Paris have shocked people all over the world. It has had such a great impact that the citizens of Paris have been scared to leave their homes, as they are unaware of what could happen to them next. This has had a knock on effect on our own country, as there has been speculation about what ISIS could do next to affect us.

So what can we do to help this situation? Is there any room for some kind of agreement? If so, there are many pathways to solve this problem. If the United Nations was to come together, they could possibly come up with some kind of plan to ensure the safety of their own countries. If this were to happen, every country in the UN helping each other could have a major overall effect on everyone.

Security is a main issue that needs to be tackled, and as quickly as possible. This can easily be done, as many people need jobs and could be qualified to help. In particular, security could mainly be increased in airports, shopping centres, popular tourist attractions etc. Also, up to date surveillance equipment could be replaced if possible. This could be a gradual process, as there may be other main priorities, but this could be beneficial in the long run.

As mentioned before, these dreadful attacks have not just effected those in Paris, but other countries as well. It has been a chain reaction, and one that doesn’t seem to end. Although this is a tragic time, we should not let fear take over our lives. If we do, we may not be prepared if ISIS rises against us. The United Kingdom is strong enough to face these problems, and hand in hand with the victims and their countries, we could be stronger than ever before. All that is needed is a bit of courage.
