With this being Daniel Craig’s final movie as James Bond, it has an explosive end to this actors role as the super suave spy.

Kicking off from where it was left off at Skyfall the movie ties up loose ends from the previous movies to end it altogether. We see James Bond (Daniel Craig) hunt an organisation by the name of Spectre to put an end to his pain and suffering as well as saving his home from a technological uprise in which all national power from every country will be handed to Spectre.

Bond receives help from his companions Q (Ben Whishaw), Eve Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and M (Ralph Fiennes). He also swears to protect the new bond girl Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) from the threats of Spectre like the brutish muscleman Mr.Hinx (Dave Bautista) and the Author of James’ pain himself Blofeld (Christoph Waltz).

Spectre offers a great, intense storyline which never fails to excite as well as an explosive first 10 mins which seems to have been filmed in one continuous shot.

Spectre also provides a villain that you will love to hate, and a bond girl who is convincing and refreshingly complicated.

However, the ending was disappointing as I was expecting more fighting back from our villain and a more suitable conclusion to Daniel Craig’s final role as Bond.

Overall, this was a great cinematic experience, and another great addition to the Bond franchise.

7/10
