We use This Is Our Faith as our Religious Education syllabus in the teaching of our Catholic faith. Father Frank liaises with the school and offers his spiritual guidance. Children are also taught about the traditions of other world religions. Parents may request that their children be permitted to be absent from school to celebrate recognised religious events. Advance notice should be provided to the school when the children will be absent. Appropriate requests will be granted and the pupil noted as an authorised absentee in the register.
Our strong relationship with Westwoodhill Evangelical Church has also been a feature of our work over many years. The Community Integration Programme supports this development of Christian attitudes. We join together in our respective churches and participate in a range of curricular activities such as Cathedral visits and Christmas events.
