As part of Internet Safety Day P1 read the story Chicken Clicking by Jeanne Willis and Tony Ross. Here is a summary of the story and what we learned from a group of children from P1.
A chicken was clicking on a computer without asking an adult and ended up talking online to a big, bad fox. This story reminds us to never meet with strangers we have spoken to online. It also reminds us to always ask an adult before using a computer or the internet. Be safe on the internet and always tell an adult.
It was a great story to read today linking different aspects of our learning in P1. You were very good at telling Mrs Stein and I things to do to stay safe online, P1.
P1 are internet safety experts!
We made a promise today to always ask an adult before playing online and learned how to stay safe with the story Chicken Clicking.
