Reading

Please read/discuss the following pages:

Strawberries: Pages 41 – 48 of “Poppet” for Thursday
Grapes: Pages 1 – 16 of “Space Ant” for Thursday
Pineapples: Pages 1 – 16 of “At Last!” for Thursday
Apples: Pages 1 – 8 of “Josie and the Kite” for Thursday

Numeracy

Circles: Please continue to practise tasks outlined on the Big Maths Sheet.  Also, continue to practise counting in sections within numbers to 1000, as well as, try to practise numbers before, after, between, 1/2 more than, 1/2 less than within numbers to 1000, focusing especially on crossing tens and hundreds, e.g. What number is 1 more than 369?  What number is 2 more than 799?  Complete worksheet and return to school on Thursday.

Squares: Please continue to practise tasks outlined on the Big Maths Sheet.  Also, continue to practise counting in sections within numbers to 100, as well as, try to practise numbers before, after, between, 1/2 more than, 1/2 less than within numbers to 100, focusing especially on crossing tens, e.g. What number is 1 more than 59?  What number is 2 less than 90?  Complete worksheet and return to school on Thursday.

Triangles: Please continue to practise counting forwards to 10, as well as, counting backwards.  Also, practise writing numbers to 10 correctly and continue to count different objects around the house e.g. spoons, crayons.  Complete worksheet and return to school on Thursday.
