Check in

Hi everyone! Check in time again 🙂

I hope you have all had a great week. I have been in school some days this week and it has been lovely to see some pupils and teachers again. We did lots of fun outdoors activities such as rounders and chalk obstacle courses.

Comment below to let me know how you are and what you have been up to. Asking: How's your day?

  1. Hi everyone,

On Wednesday me and my sister played hide and seek . On Monday we took our bikes on a walk and I even did drama on Zoom with my sister for the first time. I started watching a wrestling programme called War Games.

    Hope you’re all well.

  2. Hi Miss McAvoy, and all my friends.

I had a lovely day at school yesterday, and it was really nice to see you and my little sister’s teacher too – we have missed you! When we got home from school, we discovered that two of our caterpillars had come out of their chrysalises, and are now butterflies! It was very exciting to watch! We are now feeding them with fruit and will be looking for twigs and flowers to add to their home until we release them next week.

Mummy and I have set up the Tuesday Challenge today, so we will check next Friday to see how well the crystals have grown (fingers crossed!) I will be in school again next week so can tell you if there have been any changes before then.

I have loved doing the Africa topic this week and have done some of the tasks on the list – including the yoga, the Tinga Tinga art, an Africa poster, and my little sister and I enjoyed watching some of the Tinga Tinga tales that Mummy recorded for us. We have also watched some David Attenborough programmes on the Savannah and the Kalahari – which were very interesting. I thought the filming was amazing!

Have a nice weekend, everyone. See you soon

    Jack

    1. It was lovely to see you and hopefully see you next week too! I can’t wait to see your crystals. I don’t think mine is working 🙁 but I will give it another few days. Wow you will have to send some pictures before you release them! Sounds great 🙂

  3. Hello Miss Mcavoy
I enjoyed doing the tuesday challenge and hope my crystal will grow. I have been doing lots of work on my times tables , time and money. Mum and i looked up some African food and we found mbatata cookies from malawi so we made them today. I have emailed a photo and the receipe in case anyone else would like to try them. They are kind of healthy to because they have sweet potato in them. Freddy might like them because they have veg in them.
    Lots lof love from Eliza

  6. Hello Miss McAvoy
I hope you had a nice weekend, it was a lovely day yesterday and I went for a nice walk to my gran and grandads house. On Saturday I did some pottery and made a cup and phone holder, I had to wait to Sunday to paint it.
I have enjoyed some of the African work last week learning about lives and animals. I also sent you some art I did.

    1. Sounds like you have been busy, that sounds like great fun! Thank you for sending photos, I will have a look 🙂

  7. Hello.
    It is Ethan here.
I have been cycling, playing Minecraft and doing school work. We also built a new hamster track 🐹 and I got a letter and loads of sweets from mentos as I drew them an easter egg design and they said it was great.
    Have a good week. Ethan
