Homework for this week is as follows:

Spelling:

Write the words with blue vowels and red consonants.

Red: watch, match, wrap, wrong, bread, learn, want, wander.

Blue: miss, press, mess, these, delete, theme, chill, ball.

Green: owl, how, now, cow, bounce, couch, around, loud.

Maths: 

Circles: Revise these equations for quick recall:

• 4+5, 5+6, 6+7, 7+8, 8+9.
• Continue to revise the 5 times table.

Squares: 

• With a partner, come up with 4, 5 and 6 digit numbers and try to read them aloud.
• Partition some 3 and 4 digit numbers. E.g. 342 can be split into 300, 40 and 2.

Triangles: 

• Revise counting in 1s, 2s, 5s and 25s.

Reading: 

Children can choose a book of their choice at home and complete around 10-15 minutes of reading each night. Children will be learning and revising different reading strategies during class time so class books will not be sent home at this time.
