Check-in and class vote

Good Morning Room 8. Time for our weekly check-in again where I hope to hear from you all to see how you are. A short comment to let me know what you have been up to would be excellent!

I have been catching up with some family and friends this week that I haven’t seen in a while (from a distance of course) and I am sure you will all be doing the same. I have been doing lots more cooking and keeping myself active 🙂

Lastly, next week we are going to start a different mini topic. Instead of me choosing, I thought we could have a vote. I will give you a choice of 2 and you should vote for the one you are most interested in learning about. You can just add your choice to your weekly check-in comment. The one with the most votes will be the one we begin next week.

You can choose from:

  • Extreme Earth – You will be learn about volcanoes, earthquakes and extreme weather.

  • Africa – You will learn about African food, animals, people, countries and much more.

Before Monday, please comment below with your weekly check-in and your choice for our next mini-topic 🙂

Burnside’s Got Talent!

Good morning everyone! This year, although we cannot share the stage in the hall, we are still planning to hold Burnside’s Got Talent. This message is to ask you to have a think and to get practising with all of your talents you would like to display. You can record a video of your talent at home and during the week 15th – 19th June you are invited to tweet a video/photo of your performance on twitter.

Tweet @burnsideprim and we will re-tweet. There will also be a special certificate on the app/twitter for you to download as an award from us.

I can’t wait to see what you come up with 🙂 Remember some of the things people have chosen to do in previous years are sing, dance, gymnastics, football skills, magic trick, tell a joke, play an instrument….or you may think of lots more talents to show off from your home this year.

Happy rehearsing!
