The mini-topic that received the most votes was Africa! This is the topic we will be learning about the next few weeks but if time allows we will do a little work on Extreme Earth as there was some votes for this topic also.

Below are a list of tasks to complete this week about our mini-topic. You can complete as much of these as you like.

  • Use the African Yoga Story cards to do some yoga – Yoga Story African Animals
  • Write a story about going on a safari.
  • Research Tingatinga art and create a piece of your own.
  • Research about the desert and use your knowledge to create a piece of work inspired by it.
  • Find out the names of different African countries and label them on a blank map.
  • Research what is being done to ensure everyone in Africa has access to clean water. Find out how water can be made safe to drink. Share my findings with someone at home.

  • Research how animals in Africa have adapted to the climate and then create a poster to show my findings. African Animals Fact File Activity Sheet – Animal Facts
