Online Safety Talk by Police Scotland
The children from P7 and P6 took part in a Online Safety Awareness session today with PC Katie from Police Scotland. They have increased their knowledge of the dangers of being online and how to be vigilant at all times. The children said they now feel more confident at making better choices when online.
Agamographs-Valentine’s Day
The pupils have been exploring agamographs. This is a series of images that change at different angles. They learned about the famous Israeli sculptor, Yaccov Agam who is well known for his optical and kinetic art.
The pupils successfully created their own agamographs for Valentine’s Day.
Still Life Drawings
The children explored still life paintings of daffodils. They used their senses to think about the essence of daffodils and how they could interpret them in their own art work. They did a wonderful job.
Super Scientists
The children enjoyed carrying out experiments to test their hypotheses of different viscosities.
P.E-Circuit Time
The children worked extremely hard during today’s P.E circuit lesson. They performed a variety of exercises to improve their stamina and muscular endurance. Amazing effort!

This week in Science the children have been learning about liquids and their viscosities.
They have been ordering liquids in order of highest to lowest viscosity.
A Productive First Week Back

During Health and Wellbeing, we have been designing our own Scrabble Art all about ourselves. We highlighted each other’s passions, strengths and attributes. This helped us to build on our self esteem and help others see the best in themselves. We look forward to bringing the finished product home.
