Primary 1 loved having fun with 3D shapes today.
We love learning about 2D shapes and we made these scary witches with them to decorate our class at Halloween!
Primary 1 loved wearing odd socks and learning about how to respect each other and celebrate differences.
The children had to focus on the effect that kind and unkind words have on our emotions. This is what they drew. Well done children, these are fabulous !!
Primary 1 have been learning why people wear poppies in November, in our People in the Past topic. We have enjoyed researching and learning about some of our family members who were soldiers in WW2.
We made a poppy field like Flanders Field, learned a poem and made these fantastic poppy hats. We are very thankful for all the people who fought for us in the wars.
Primary 1 went on a leaf hunt in the playground to find different leaves……
We took them back to class and sorted them in to different sizes and colours………
Then we used them to make these fantastic Leaf People drawings…..
Look at these wonderful Leaf People…. well done Primary 1 you are fab!!!
