Hope this finds you all hale and hearty and you have been enjoying the different activities. Remember the comments are now turned on so I would love to hear from you. If you try any of the activities send me a wee pic to maxict@glow.sch.uk and I will include in my Friday feedback blog.
Over the next few weeks I am going to include activities that will require some equipment
- empty, clean bottles eg fizzy juice, diluting juice, milk
- toilet roll tubes
- cardboard box.
Don’t worry if you haven’t got these things as there will be other activities you can do.

Balloons
Instructions
- Build a lego car with a space from front to back for the balloon. I have included a quick video to show where the balloon goes.
- Blow up the balloon and then hold onto the end till you put it in the floor. let the balloon go and watch your car go. how far does it go?
Lego Challenge.
Design and build your dream treehouse. What would your’s have? Mine would have a comfy, big bean bag, lots of books and a big window in the roof to watch the moon and stars.
Remember if you don’t have lego you can draw your design on paper.
Taskmaster
Throw paper ,or rolled up socks if you don’t have paper, into a bin. Who can get it into the bin,
- the furthest away,
- blindfolded,
- throwing over your head
- or the most unusual way to throw?
Mindfulness
Please be careful when you do these and make sure you have plenty of space around you when trying the double dog or double boat.
Take a moment to be thankful
Being thankful improves our mood and the more we are thankful the more our mood improves. Sometimes it’s hard to think of things to be thankful for so here are some ideas
- Name a person you are thankful for, if you want to let them know.
- Name a place you are thankful for
- Name a food you are thankful for
- Name a thing you are grateful for
- Name something else you are grateful for
Try to think of 3 things you are grateful for every day, if you want share your thoughts with some one.
Clean up your phone
- Sort through your contacts,
- clear up your camera roll
- reply to any old messages.
- Clean up your social media , are your settings safe? do you know everyone on your friends list face to face?
- Remove apps that you don’t use,
Sort out your electronics
- Dust and wipe down your devices including your tv if you have one.
- Untangle wires from chargers , headphones. Put them away neatly.
- If you use discs for your xbox or ps put them back in the right boxes and put them away neatly.
Hope you have enjoyed this weeks challenges. remember if you are allowed send pics to maxict@glow.sch.uk so they can be shared on my Fri Feedback blog.
Keep safe and be kind.
