Should your daughter\/son develop any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 while in school, we shall contact you immediately and ask that you pick her\/him up as soon as possible. If your daughter\/son has any siblings at school we shall also arrange for them to go home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We advise that you should immediately book a COVID-19 test for the child who is symptomatic and keep all children at home until the outcome of the test is known. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the test is negative, the symptomatic young person (and their siblings) can then return to school. If the test is positive the symptomatic young person should self-isolate for 10 days and family members for 14 days. Should another member of the family develop the symptoms associated with COVID-19, she\/he should book a test straight away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will be extremely helpful if parents and the school keep in touch while we await the outcome of the test and then liaise about the outcome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
